Job summary

HubSpot's Legal team is at the forefront of AI-powered transformation, building AI agents, managing systems, and integrating operations to free lawyers for high-value work. This is not a “keep the lights on” role; you'll own end-to-end AI solutions and sit with AI-minded stakeholders.

You'll design agentic workflows, implement SaaS AI-heavy tools, and partner with attorneys to deliver measurable impact across the legal function within HubSpot's technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on technical skills: SaaS configuration, API usage, system integration design, and workflow automation.
• Real experience building and deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments: AI agents, agentic workflows, LLM-powered tools, or similar.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms for building integrations and automations.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a technical consultant to a non-technical business audience: translate needs into deliverable solutions.
• Self-directed, highly organized, able to manage multiple workstreams with autonomy.
• Clear communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI solution design and delivery: build, configure, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows using Claude, Cowork, ChatGPT, and Glean.
• Own the legal tech ecosystem as a technical SME across Legal SaaS apps (CLMs, Matter Management, DSAR tooling).
• Build integrations: design and develop workflow automations and integrations using Workato and iPaaS platforms, connecting legal systems to HubSpot stack.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions in partnership with attorneys and legal leadership.
• Drive AI adoption by embedding AI tools into day-to-day workflows and ensuring adoption sticks.
• Shape the roadmap with technically feasible plans balancing priorities and iterative delivery.
• Track and communicate value with KPIs and reports to senior legal leadership including CLO.
• Stay ahead of legal tech trends and bring forward-looking perspectives on tools and capabilities.
