San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance seeks an experienced Senior Learning Specialist to lead and deliver instructor-led and virtual trainings across the organization, driving curriculum design, LMS administration, and professional development, with a focus on integrating AI to enhance instructional design and the learner experience.

You will partner with the Learning & Development team and internal stakeholders to assess needs, design engaging programs, and monitor outcomes using data-driven

Competenze

• Requires 5 years of progressively responsible experience in training facilitation, learning and development, or instructional design.
• Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS) including course deployment and completion reporting is required.
• Experience using AI tools to support learning content development, program delivery, or administrative workflows is required.
• CA driver's license is required.

Mansioni

• Facilitates all in-person and virtual Learning & Development programs, including orientations and leadership development programs, preparing sessions and managing logistics.
• Supports career development programs and participant support, enrollment, scheduling, communications, and tracking.
• Administers LMS programs, builds and assigns courses, manages enrollments and due dates, and runs completion reports.
• Supports curriculum design for L&D programs and develops facilitator guides, participant materials, and e-learning content.
• Identifies, evaluates, and applies AI tools to improve learning design, delivery, and administration, while ensuring data privacy and human review.
• Collects and analyzes participant feedback and data to support program measurement and improvements.
• Partners with managers and stakeholders to align programs with SDZWA mission and industry best practices.
