Job summary

OpenAI Academy seeks an experienced Learning Designer & Content Developer to craft AI training for in-person and virtual programs. You will collaborate with Academy leads and subject-matter experts to produce polished training packages, slides, speaker notes, and hands-on activities that align with briefs and delivery timelines.

You will adapt content for diverse participants, turn complex concepts into clear instructions, and contribute to continuous improvement of training offerings while

Qualifications

• Experience in learning design, instructional design, adult learning, customer education, or educator development.
• Portfolio of complete training programs you designed, including materials and facilitator guidance.
• Strong live facilitation skills for diverse audiences and AI-enabled demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Design complete training packages with slides, speaker notes, scripts, and handouts.
• Create practical learning experiences for in-person and virtual delivery with clear objectives and timing.
• Adapt materials for different roles, levels of AI experience, and learning outcomes.
• Turn complex product and policy concepts into clear, usable instruction with SMEs.
• Develop reusable templates and maintain up-to-date training resources.
• Pilot trainings, rehearse sessions, and support facilitator training paths.
• Ensure content accuracy, inclusivity, safety, and learner experience following OpenAI guidelines.
• Collaborate with Academy leads, trainers, SMEs, and partner teams.
