Job summary

ServiceNow in San Diego seeks a Senior Email and Lifecycle Marketing Strategist to own lifecycle email strategy and deployment for high-visibility programs across IT, CRM, Employee Experience, and Risk & Security.

You will define audience segmentation, cadence plans, and KPIs, partner with Content Strategists to shape email content, and build end-to-end programs in Marketo Engage or similar platforms, using AI-assisted tooling to scale persona-level messaging.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying email programs in Marketo Engage.
• Familiar with ABM/ABX and buying group frameworks.
• Design multi-stage lifecycle programs across stages.
• Define audience segmentation and cadence across complex books.
• Shape lifecycle copy framework and persona-level messaging.
• Proficient in A/B and multivariate testing tied to business impact.
• Collaborate with analytics and digital teams to report on KPIs.
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle and email campaign architecture across nurtures, webinars, events, and product launches, driving alignment with Campaign Managers.
• Manage lifecycle email strategy and deployment for high-visibility books mapped to buying group structures and ABX.
• Define audience segmentation for each program and align with Audience Planners.
• Partner with Content Strategists to shape email content POV and journey.
• Set volume and cadence plans with governance for fatigue and overlap.
• Define KPIs by campaign type and tie to business outcomes and ABX motion.
• Build, configure, and deploy email programs end-to-end in Marketo Engage or comparable platform.
• Refine lifecycle copy framework and use AI-assisted tooling to scale messaging.
• Operate human-in-the-loop gates on builds and governance standards.
• Design AB testing programs and surface insights through QBR reporting.
