Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Senior Document Automation Specialist to design and implement automated templates for contracts, pleadings, and client communications. You will drive AI-assisted drafting and intelligent review to help attorneys produce higher-quality work faster.

You will collaborate with attorneys and paralegals, audit templates, keep templates current, and train teams on best practices while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of document automation experience in a legal setting.
• Experience applying AI/automation to workflows.
• Familiar with document management systems and version control.
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated templates and template packages for contracts, pleadings, and client correspondence.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and stakeholders to tailor solutions to practice group needs.
• Audit automated templates for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards.
• Identify workflow gaps and drive improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain templates and update to reflect formatting, branding, or policy changes.
• Train attorneys and staff on automation tools and best practices.
• Stay current on Generative AI developments and translate trends into actionable insights.
• Maintain confidentiality of firm information.
