Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to architect and operate the mission critical networks powering our data centers and fleet of vehicles.

You will lead the design of scalable, redundant architectures and drive AI-native approaches to network operations, while automating provisioning and upgrades across devices and servers. You will work on end-to-end automation, monitoring, and anomaly detection, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, and optimizing performance across

Qualifications

5+ years of experience designing, operating & automating critical networks.
Experience with Linux networking, kernel systems, and high-speed optical modules; RDMA experience preferred.
AI-native engineering experience deploying AI agents for network operations.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and deploy highly redundant data centers for mission critical operations.
Lead end-to-end automation of the network lifecycle: provisioning, configuration management, validation, monitoring.
Create and maintain AI-driven network operations: design AI and ML tools to monitor health and detect anomalies.
Automate rapid provisioning and upgrades of network devices and servers.
Troubleshoot and resolve networking hardware and software problems.
Optimize performance across hardware, topologies, protocols, and software.
