Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a high‑impact Data Analytics leader for a nationwide field role. You will coach analytics managers, shape the analytics ecosystem, and partner with senior leadership to identify high-value AI and analytics use cases across Supply Chain functions.

You will drive strategic analytics initiatives, mentor peers, and deliver scalable data products while aligning with enterprise goals and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years guiding teams with a product-first framework, managing analytical products through their lifecycle.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, IT, Operational Excellence, or related field at senior/lead level.
• Coaching, mentoring and upskilling data analysts and cross-functional teams.
• Strong conceptual understanding of advanced analytics and AI/ML applications.
• Experience with Big Data systems, cloud-based Data Lakes, and visualization/scorecard platforms.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to present to senior executives.
• Experience delivering large-scale programs with broad organizational impact.

Responsibilities

• Coaching & Team Guidance: Lead, mentor, and coach data analytics managers and teams with a product-first mindset.
• Strategic Analytics Leadership: Guide long-term analytics and data ecosystem strategy.
• Executive Partnership: Collaborate with Director/VP-level and senior leadership to scope data use cases.
• AI & Advanced Analytics Identification: Identify and champion AI and advanced analytics use cases.
• Type 1 Value Realization: Build business cases delivering high-impact value.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Platform, and Application teams to design analytics products.
• Analytical Problem Solving: Lead discovery, hypothesis testing, root-cause analysis.
• Stakeholder Facilitation: Lead workshops and requirements sessions with senior stakeholders.
• Recommendation & Impact Assessment: Provide data-driven strategic recommendations with ROI analyses.
