Job summary

Orca Bio seeks a hands-on Manager/Senior Manager, Business Systems to own day-to-day administration, implementation, and roadmap of our business systems, with a focus on AI applications and the OrcaLink Salesforce-based COC/COI platform.

Reporting to the Head of Business Systems and Architecture, you will manage contracted development teams, partner with stakeholders across the company, and ensure regulated systems are secure, compliant, and scalable while leveraging automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5-8+ years in business systems, IT apps, or systems administration, incl. 3-5 years in regulated life sciences/biotech.
• Experience implementing, integrating, and administering enterprise platforms (CRM, ERP, QMS, MES, CTMS, or similar).
• Hands-on experience scoping and delivering AI applications and automation to improve operations.
• Working knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and CSV practices.
• Experience mentoring a team or leading cross-functional projects.
• Strong data security, access control, and audit-readiness understanding.
• Excellent communication translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of business systems requests from intake to post-launch support.
• Evaluate, implement, and integrate new business applications (CRM, ERP, QMS, MES, CTMS, HRIS).
• Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable systems solutions.
• Support OrcaLink Salesforce COI/COC platform with platform owner and admins.
• Lead IT assessments for OrcaLink with Security, track remediation.
• Identify and drive adoption of AI and automation across the business.
• Server as bridge between business and development teams on AI/platform initiatives.
• Lead and grow a small team of business systems analysts/administrators.
• Support CSV activities for GxP-regulated systems with Quality/Validation teams.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and security frameworks.
