Qualifications

• 6+ years experience designing and building large scale distributed backend systems.
• Experience with API design, versioning, and building systems that many teams build on top of.
• Strong skills in at least one modern programming language and experience shipping production code.
• Able to reason about ambiguous, large scale systems and communicate tradeoffs to a team.
• Demonstrated AI-first approach to engineering using AI tools to accelerate development.
• Advanced prompt engineering skills for precise, structured prompts and reliable outputs.
• Related technical degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a core agent framework hosting specialized capabilities and integrate into human workflows.
• Define contracts for reusable agent skills, focusing on API design, versioning, and composability.
• Build evaluation infrastructure to measure agent quality and catch regressions.
• Help agents locate records and context using structured queries, catalogs, and semantic search.
• Develop production-grade software with AI as a core development workflow.
• Contribute to the shared system context documenting designs, constraints, and standards.
• Critically evaluate code (human or AI) for correctness, security, and performance.
