Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Genuine AI-first approach to engineering and tooling.
• Experience using AI tools in active development workflows.
• Ability to design, iterate on, and test system prompts and structured outputs (JSON).
• Designing and consuming RESTful APIs with AWS knowledge.
• Experience with Bazel or Maven and monorepo workflows.
• CI/CD with Jenkins and Docker-based deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software with AI as a core component.
• Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate with human workflows.
• Architect and maintain backend services integrating LLMs via external APIs, with observability for long-running AI jobs.
• Critically evaluate code (human or AI-generated) for correctness, security, and performance.
• Develop test automation and quality tooling, focusing on unit/CI test generation and failure analysis.
