Range is hiring a Senior Accountant to own the monthly close, AP, AR, and payroll operations end to end from its McLean, VA headquarters. You’ll partner with the Controller and VP of Finance on technical accounting and help build AI-driven automation that enhances a lean finance team.

You’ll contribute to the ERP migration, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong controls while operating in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment with leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with public or startup exposure.
• Active CPA license strongly preferred.
• Strong command of US GAAP with ASC 606 experience.
• Automation mindset with familiarity with AI tooling, SQL, or light scripting a plus.
• Ability to own the mechanics of a monthly close and run AP/AR/payroll with minimal oversight.

Responsabilités

• Own the monthly close end to end: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and trial balance.
• Manage AP, AR, and payroll operations end to end, including vendor onboarding and billing-to-cash reconciliation.
• Drive revenue recognition under ASC 606 and collaborate on technical accounting positions.
• Prepare income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements with variance analysis for leadership.
• Build AI-driven automations with finance tools and integrate them into the ERP system.
• Support ERP migration: data migration, system selection, and controls implementation.
