Job summary

Superhuman Labs, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting Operations to own the monthly close, lead a small team, and modernize core accounting.

You will drive improvements in close timeliness, reporting quality, and efficiency across a multi-entity environment, blending hands-on execution with tooling-forward strategies. The ideal candidate is US GAAP‑savvy, operationally hands-on, and energized by automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with monthly close ownership
• Experience in a high-growth, multi-entity company at $200M+ revenue scale
• Direct people‑management experience coaching Senior- and Staff-level accountants
• Strong US GAAP foundation including ASC 842 lease accounting
• Hands-on NetSuite experience and close management platforms
• Track record of automation and AI tooling for scalability
• Audit support experience with external audits
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Big 4 or national public accounting preferred; CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounting Operations team
• Own the monthly close end‑to‑end
• Serve as the primary operational reviewer for close work
• Drive automation and process improvements across close workflows
• Support audit planning and readiness with auditors
• Mature and scale the close process with robust process documentation
• Build cross‑functional partnerships across Finance and Accounting
