Tealium is seeking a Senior Engineer, AI Developer Tools, to lead the design and rollout of the next‑generation AI‑driven developer tools that modernize Tealium’s engineering ecosystem. You will empower teams to innovate faster, improve code quality, and boost productivity by building AI‑powered platforms for code review, test generation, migration automation, and CI/CD copilots with scalable governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years leading large-scale internal tooling or modernization efforts
• Deep understanding of modern software development practices (e.g., Java, TypeScript, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure)
• Experience influencing across an enterprise-scale engineering organization
• Strong architecture and system design skills
• Exceptional cross-functional communication and business-influencing abilities
• Passion for improving the developer experience via AI
• Experience evaluating AI tools and models across quality, cost, latency, security, and fit
• Familiarity with AI platforms and tools used for code review, test generation, or automation
• Experience applying AI/automation to software development workflows with measurable impact

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-powered refactoring of monolithic platform components
• Design and implement AI-enhanced code review and test automation
• Lead measurement and adoption of AI tools with KPIs
• Evaluate and integrate best-in-class AI technologies for engineering workflow
• Establish scalable AI-assisted development workflows and governance
• Serve as technical authority across the engineering org
• Drive multi-week implementations of AI-powered developer tools
• Stay current with AI trends and translate to Tealium practices
