Job summary

Tealium, a leader in real-time customer data platforms, seeks a Senior Engineer, AI Developer Tools to shape the vision and rollout of AI-powered tooling. You will modernize Tealium’s engineering ecosystem, enabling faster innovation, higher code quality, and improved developer productivity across the organization.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, drive AI-powered refactoring, automate tests, establish AI metrics, and influence strategic technical direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise-scale environments.
• 3+ years leading large-scale internal tooling, platform engineering or modernization efforts.
• Proven success delivering AI-powered developer tools with measurable impact on velocity and quality.
• Strong architecture and system design skills with build‑vs‑buy decisions.
• Experience with Java, TypeScript, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-powered refactoring of monolithic platform components.
• Design and implement AI-enhanced code review and test automation.
• Lead measurement and adoption of AI tools with KPIs and metrics.
• Evaluate and integrate best-in-class AI technologies to streamline engineering workflows.
• Establish scalable AI-assisted development workflows and reusable patterns across R&D.
