Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Principal AI Developer Experience Architect to lead the design and implementation of the AI engineering layer across our enterprise AI coding tools and workflows. You will own guardrails, standards, and safety-as-code practices that ensure scalable, trustworthy AI-assisted development for a 800+ developer organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering at Staff/Principal level in a 300+ engineer product organization.
• 3+ years designing and shipping LLM-powered developer tools or workflows in production environments.
• Proven track record architecting developer platforms or large-scale internal tooling used by hundreds of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect the AI Engineering Layer for enterprise-grade AI coding assistants and LLM platforms.
• Own AI Guardrails, Skills, and Standards across coding tools and prompts.
• Implement AI-driven code review and safety as code with automated checks and canary delivery.
• Lead vendor evaluations and integrations; run POCs with clear success criteria.
• Drive developer adoption and provide guidance for scale and ROI.
• Partner on reliability, metrics, and governance with SRE and security teams.
