SentinelOne in the United States is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer to build backend infrastructure for our AI security product, focusing on monitoring AI assets, assessing risks, and delivering actionable insights. You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment requiring agility and continuous iteration.

The role emphasizes security policies, compliant AI deployment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams as you contribute to a scalable microservices architecture and cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices.
• Experience with scalability and performance optimization including caching strategies and distributed architectures.
• Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.
• Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Work with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage backend services.
• Contribute to the development of microservices architecture.
• Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and industry best practices.
