Job summary

Amplitude, Inc. is seeking a Customer Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end enterprise implementations, from sales engagement through post-deployment validation.

You’ll work directly in Amplitude’s product codebase, submitting PRs and shipping customer-specific solutions that showcase technical excellence. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to turn customer needs into working software, building reusable patterns and driving measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with customer-facing technical engagements end-to-end.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience shipping software in customer-facing contexts is expected.
• Ability to read, write, and review production code in complex codebases.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise implementations end-to-end from sales to post-deployment validation.
• Work directly in the product codebase, submitting PRs and shipping customer-specific solutions.
• Ship early and often, gathering feedback to validate approach and adjust course.
• Build reusable patterns and playbooks to accelerate future engagements.
• Provide actionable product feedback to influence roadmaps and surface gaps.
