EY is seeking senior engineers to join the Advanced Forward Engineering team, embedded with clients to deliver AI‑native systems in regulated environments. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, shape solutions, and write production‑quality code across LangGraph and Python, working with platform, security, and governance partners.

In this role you’ll navigate real‑world constraints, balance tradeoffs, and ensure auditable, trusted deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Customer-facing or consulting engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data‑intensive applications.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real‑world conditions.
• Production‑grade code under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.
• Ability to work with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths within regulatory constraints.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery outcomes from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI‑enabled workflows and integration logic.
• Write production‑quality code aligned with enterprise delivery standards (LangGraph, Python).
• Make real‑time tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost, and timeline.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints.
• Capture field learnings and contribute feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to reduce rework and enable repeatable delivery.
