Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with clients in regulated environments. You will own end-to-end delivery from problem framing to deployment, balancing functionality, safety, and cost while ensuring auditability and trust in production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Customer-facing or consulting engineering experience.
• Hands-on building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-quality code under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and integrations using approved platform templates.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Make real-time tradeoffs balancing function, safety, cost, and timelines; explain decisions to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints.
• Capture learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
