EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with clients in regulated environments. You will own end-to-end delivery, write production-grade code, and collaborate across platform, security, and governance to ensure auditable, trusted solutions.

The role emphasizes client-facing delivery, pragmatic tradeoffs, and maintenance of scalable, reliable systems in production.

Qualifications

5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
Hands-on with distributed systems, APIs, integrations or data-heavy apps.
Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows).
Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
Production-grade code under compliance, performance and reliability constraints.
Ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, security and governance teams.

Responsibilities

Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
Implement AI-enabled workflows and orchestration using approved platform capabilities.
Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
Make real-time delivery tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety and cost.
Ensure compliance with security, AI integrity and FinOps constraints.
Capture learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution.
Collaborate with integration, platform and architecture teams to reduce rework.
