Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our ISV Team, focusing on Independent Software Vendors and Private Equity partnerships. You will guide customers in leveraging AWS cloud capabilities to enhance offerings and drive mutual success.

You will own the technical relationship, participate in deep design discussions, and provide prescriptive guidance on cloud-native architectures for data and analytics use cases, accelerating innovation on AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers providing technical advocacy as they build and enhance their products on AWS
• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions with customers to create world-class solutions built on AWS
• Work with customers to understand their business needs and provide prescriptive guidance on how to leverage AWS technologies
• Formulate and execute a strategy to drive adoption of AWS services within customers platform
• Author and contribute to technical publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts that highlight AWS.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals at our customer to enable them to be cloud advocates
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
• Drive successful outcomes for both AWS and customers through technical enablement
