Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to partner with customers and sales teams to design, build, and migrate scalable cloud architectures on AWS.

You will drive technically rigorous discussions, shape adoption strategies, and create cloud-native solutions that meet complex business needs. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with AWS Sales and other teams to address customer challenges, craft tailored roadmaps, and help drive successful cloud

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 4+ years in cloud computing or related infrastructure roles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Design and implement generative AI architectures that orchestrate complex workflows across enterprise systems, leveraging AWS services like Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Develop strategic technical roadmaps and implementation plans for generative AI solutions that align with customers’ business objectives and existing architecture.
• Travel is expected to be 20%.
