Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Atlanta seeks a Senior AI and Data Consultant to lead hands-on AI/data initiatives across hybrid cloud environments, elevating reliability and operational excellence of enterprise platforms.

You will partner with Application Development, Infrastructure, Production Support, and Security teams to drive automation, incident management, and SRE practices while mentoring engineers and shaping runbooks and resilience strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional AI and data experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI models, data architectures, and analytics methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Operational Support and Modernization with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Incident & Problem Management Leadership to diagnose root causes and drive resolution.
• Reliability Engineering & Automation to reduce toil and MTTR.
• Observability & Operational Excellence via Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Cross-Functional Leadership to embed reliability in design and execution.
• Standardization & Documentation through runbooks and playbooks.
• Mentorship & Technical Development of SREs and engineers.
