Job summary

Truist is seeking a Senior AI and Data Consultant to lead reliability, observability, and modernization across hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments. You will drive AI/ops adoption, automation, and incident management while partnering with development, security, and risk teams to deliver scalable services.

You will mentor junior SREs, shape runbooks and playbooks, and push for standardized SLO/SLI adoption to improve enterprise resilience.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in CS/Data Science/AI or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional AI and data experience.
• Strong knowledge of AI models, data architectures and analytics methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead major incident responses and drive cross-team resolution.
• Architect automation to reduce toil and improve MTTR.
• Define standardized incident playbooks and escalation paths.
• Grow reliability through SRE practices and AI/ML integrations.
• Collaborate with security, risk, and product teams to elevate resilience.
