Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Model Engineering within its AI, Data & Engineering team. The role focuses on delivering modern AI, ML, and generative AI solutions on the Databricks platform, collaborating with clients and EY leadership to shape and deploy use cases and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• 6–10 years of AI, data science, or ML experience.
• 2–4 years of direct technical team management.
• 3–4 years deploying production AI/ML on Databricks.
• Databricks Certification (Data Engineer/ML) preferred.
• Strong Python, PySpark, Scala skills.
• Able to lead diverse, hybrid and global teams.
• Experience with DevOps and ML ops on Databricks.
• Knowledge of ontologies, knowledge graphs and semantic models.
• Product-centric development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI workstreams from design to production on Databricks.
• Build data pipelines and AI solutions at scale.
• Improve processes via research and analysis.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams with focus on quality and responsible deployment.
• Engage with clients and lead workstreams end-to-end.
• Design ontologies and semantic models for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with product, business, data science and engineering stakeholders to define user needs.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
