Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Model Engineering to deliver modern AI engineering on the Databricks platform. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, design scalable AI/ML solutions, and collaborate with clients to realize business value.

You’ll oversee data pipelines, ontologies, and semantic models, applying a product-centric approach. This role requires strong leadership, technical credibility, and the ability to operate across design, build, and deploy phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6-10 years of AI, Data Science, and/or Machine Learning experience.
• 2-4 years directly managing technical teams.
• 3-4 years building and deploying production AI/ML solutions on Databricks.
• Databricks Certification (Data Engineer/ML/Generative AI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI workstreams from design to production deployment and ongoing optimization on Databricks.
• Lead teams building data pipelines and AI solutions (ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI).
• Drive product-centric AI development with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user needs and backlogs.
• Engage with clients and manage workstreams from planning to closure.
