Job summary

G2i Inc. seeks a Senior/Staff level software engineer to evaluate AI-generated coding interactions. You will assess usefulness, accuracy, and engineering judgment without writing production code. Strong English and experience with Codex, Claude Code or Cursor are required for high-quality feedback.

The role is a contract assignment, remote worldwide, with 10-20 hours per week. You will provide detailed written critiques and help shape standards for AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal-level engineer with strong judgment.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2 or above).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, correctness at a high level, and engineering judgment.
• Assess explanations and reasoning, not just code.
• Differentiate between levels of response quality and provide written feedback.
• Help define what great looks like when using tools like Cursor, Codex and Claude Code.
