Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join a seasoned agile team. You will design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled products, owning features across backend and frontend, and integrating LLM/agent capabilities into production systems.

You will work with Python services, React UIs, and cloud-native architectures on AWS, using containers and microservices. Strong standards for security, testing, and collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and React with modern UI skills.
• Cloud-native development with containers and APIs/microservices.
• Experience with LLMs/agent AI production work.
• Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL/Aurora).
• Secure coding practices and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions with design, development and troubleshooting.
• Design and build Python services and UIs, deploy to cloud infra.
• Integrate LLMs/agent frameworks into real workflows.
• Develop with PostgreSQL/Aurora; design schemas and queries.
• Work with enterprise AI tools; ensure code quality and security.
• Advocate secure, resilient software and CI/CD practices.
• Produce architecture/design artifacts for complex apps.
• Analyze data to drive continuous software improvements.
