Job summary

TRM Labs is hiring an Senior AI Engineer to be the embedded AI automation engineer for Product, building agents, automations, and apps that accelerate product managers, marketers, and designers. You will work directly with teams across the product lifecycle in a fully remote, async-first environment.

You will translate non-engineer needs into technical solutions, ship agentic systems on frontier models, and maintain reusable components to scale impact across TRM.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering in Python or TypeScript.
• Very high AI fluency; build agentic solutions with frontier models.
• Ability to translate non-engineer needs into technical work.
• Judgment about where AI adds value and where not.
• Experience building solutions adopted by non-technical teams.
• Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Senior scope: ownership, ambiguity tolerance, and minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents, automations, and apps integrated with Product.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Design and Engineering across lifecycle.
• Ship production-ready AI workflows and maintain reusable components.
• Turn rough ideas into prototypes and deliver same-day fixes.
• Ensure solutions are adopted by non-technical teams and scale.
