Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects delivering scalable AI memory systems across multiple platforms, with emphasis on multi-agent design patterns and advanced context management.

The role requires expertise in AI frontier models, model fine-tuning, and distributed inference, plus strong leadership and collaboration across AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native software development tools/code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages like Go, Rust, Java.
• Understanding of AI native design processes and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine tuning and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps, etc.
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designs.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test architectures benchmarking performance against AI/human evals.
• Develop replicable integration frameworks for memory architecture across systems.
• Lead AI native design process and drive agent design requirements.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging technology.
• Present at academic conferences and assist IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a group building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
