Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AI Architect to define end-to-end Agentic AI architectures that leverage LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers for secure, scalable enterprise solutions.

You will collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design autonomous AI agents, establish reference architectures, and integrate agents with ERP, CRM, and data platforms. Remote U.S. role with potential travel.

Qualifications

• <p>Deep expertise in AI/ML and GenAI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and multi-agent architectures and agent frameworks.</p>
• <p>Strong programming skills in Python (primary) with hands-on experience across AI libraries.</p>
• <p>Experience architecting on cloud platforms, with Azure preferred (including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, and Databricks), as well as AWS or GCP.</p>
• <p>Experience with modern data and platform ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse), REST APIs, microservices, and event streaming (Kafka, Event Hub).</p>
• <p>Strong DevOps and MLOps capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, and experiment tracking.</p>

Responsibilities

• <p>Define end-to-end Agentic AI architecture frameworks leveraging LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers.</p>
• <p>Design autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, memory management, and tool usage.</p>
• <p>Establish reference architectures for enterprise-grade AI applications that are cloud-native, scalable, and secure.</p>
• <p>Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, including data platforms, ERP, CRM, APIs, and event-driven systems.</p>
