Job summary
Renesas Electronics seeks an experienced AI Architect to define and evolve AI/ML technologies across embedded, edge-cloud, and sensor platforms. You will bridge algorithms, analytics, and semiconductor tech, collaborating with product groups and customers to create AI-enabled solutions that deliver differentiated value.
You will shape AI strategy, accelerate edge intelligence adoption, and mentor engineering teams, while evaluating advances in ML, vision, and data analytics for future products.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, EE, Physics, Data Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, analytics, signal processing, or intelligent embedded systems.
- Proven leadership as AI Architect, Chief Architect, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Define and own AI/ML architectures for embedded, edge, cloud-connected systems.
- Translate customer challenges into AI solution roadmaps and reference implementations.
- Lead development of reusable AI frameworks, inference pipelines, and deployment methodologies.
- Evaluate and adopt ML/DL/foundation-model/agentic-AI technologies.
- Collaborate with product, software, and research teams to integrate AI capabilities.
- Provide mentoring and technical leadership across engineering teams.
