Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an AI Architect to design and deliver production AI solutions. You will lead a small team of AI Engineers and occasionally flex roles across UX and data science to build end-to-end ML pipelines in cloud environments.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and executives to align AI initiatives with K12 and enterprise objectives, while mentoring staff and ensuring governance and data privacy. This is a home-based role with a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CS/Math/Engineering or 6 years related experience.
• OSS and cloud certifications such as AWS/Azure are a plus but not required.
• Experience designing and deploying ML models—especially NLP and recommender systems—with Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead ML model prototyping and deployment across product lines.
• Oversee data ingestion, model training, deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor AI Engineers and ensure governance, security, and code quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, IT and executives to align AI with business goals.
