Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks a senior AI Architect to design and deliver production-ready AI solutions. You will lead a small team of AI Engineers, coordinate with UX and SME contributors, and drive end-to-end ML pipelines in cloud environments for K12 and enterprise contexts.

The role emphasizes governance, privacy, and alignment with business objectives, including strong DevOps/MLOps practices and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and deploying ML models—especially NLP and recommender systems—using Python and ML libraries.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform to build scalable, secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Drives conception, prototyping, and deployment of ML models across product lines.
• Leads production-ready AI systems using cloud, containers, and IaC.
• Supervises 1–3 AI Engineers and mentors on coding and model development.
• Collaborates with Product, Engineering, IT Managers, and executives to align AI with business goals.
• Ensures governance, data privacy, and documentation for AI deliverables.
