Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an AI Architect to design and deliver production-ready AI solutions across our education-focused platform.

You will lead a small team of AI Engineers and occasionally flex with UX, front-end, and SME contributors to build end-to-end ML systems in cloud environments. You will mentor engineers, establish governance, and ensure AI work aligns with business objectives for K12 school services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field; 6+ years' related experience as an alternative
• Experience designing and deploying ML models—NLP and recommender systems—using Python and ML libraries
• Proficient with AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build scalable environments

Responsibilities

• Drive conception, prototyping, and deployment of ML models for NLP and recommender systems across product lines
• Oversee AI solution design, infrastructure, and deployment with IaC practices
• Supervise 1–3 AI Engineers and flex contributors on projects
• Align AI initiatives with organizational objectives and governance requirements
