Job summary

GoodRx is seeking an experienced AI engineering leader to build and scale high‑performing teams responsible for LLM-based systems and enterprise AI platforms. You will oversee architecture, delivery, and governance, guiding cross-functional collaboration with Product, Architecture, and business leaders to translate priorities into technical plans.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing engineers and engineering teams.
• Deep fluency with LLM application architecture, including RAG, agents, prompts, fine-tuning trade-offs, evaluation methods, and MLOps/LLMOps.
• Hands-on experience shipping and operating production AI services, including APIs and cloud infra, with cost and latency considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, develop, and scale AI engineering teams and technical leaders across multiple use-case pods.
• Own delivery and engineering quality for LLM-based systems from architecture to production operations.
• Guide the CoE’s shared AI platform including evaluation pipelines, testing, prompt/model management, observability, guardrails, and reusable capabilities.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and stakeholders to translate priorities into technical plans and tradeoffs.
• Establish engineering practices across planning, design reviews, on-call, and incident management; manage cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Ensure launches meet governance standards and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Security to implement guardrails.
• Develop and scale reusable patterns and playbooks to enable safe AI adoption across teams.
• Stay close to architecture decisions while maintaining accountability for leadership and delivery.
