Job summary

GoodRx is seeking an experienced AI engineering leader to build and scale its GenAI engineering teams across multiple use‑case pods. You will own delivery quality for LLM-based systems, guide the CoE’s shared AI platform, and collaborate with product and business leaders to translate priorities into technical plans.

You will manage architecture, evaluation, observability, and guardrails, while steering vendors and build/buy/partner decisions. Strong communication to executives is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, incl. production AI/ML deployments
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple highly technical engineering teams
• Deep fluency with LLM application architecture and MLOps practices
• Hands‑on experience shipping production AI services and scalable platforms
• Experience leading engineers and contractors in a matrix organization
• Ability to gate releases with evaluation frameworks and behavioral metrics
• Excellent communication and influence skills with senior stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, develop, and scale AI engineering teams and leaders across use‑case pods
• Own delivery and engineering quality for LLM systems from architecture to production
• Guide CoE AI platform development including evaluation pipelines and guardrails
• Translate product priorities into technical plans and resource tradeoffs
• Maintain engineering practices across planning, design reviews, on‑call, and incidents
• Ensure launches meet security, governance, and legal standards
• Develop scalable AI patterns and playbooks for rapid adoption
• Stay close to architecture decisions and drive alignment across teams
• Navigate cross‑team challenges with scalable approaches
