Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced AI Software Architect to design and implement Agent Control for scalable AI solutions. The role focuses on authentication, state management, tooling, and federation in fast-paced environments.

You’ll collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infra teams and contribute to IP filings while shaping the future of trusted AI agents. The position offers a hybrid work model in the US with a comprehensive compensation package, medical/dental coverage, and 401(k) options,

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI native software development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Typescript) and languages like Go, Rust, Java.
• Knowledge of AI Native design process and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with modern IDEs, CI/CD, and collaboration tools (GitHub/Gitlab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design architectures for agent identity and authentication in large-scale multi-agent systems.
• Design post-training and tuning/customization environments.
• Design synthesis models for AI open source models.
• Implement and test architectures benchmarking performance against agent and human evals.
• Design comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI Native design process.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development activities for emerging tech.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP filings.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
