Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will drive scalable AI capabilities, including agent authentication, observability, and multiagent APIs.

You will collaborate across AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure to deliver balanced, practical outcomes and contribute to IP development. The role offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Use of AI native software development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with Python, Bash, TypeScript etc. and Go, Rust, Java.
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern code hosting (Github/Gitlab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems including multiagent systems and tooling.
• Architect agent identity and authentication for large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning environments.
• Create synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Benchmark architectures against agent and human evals.
• Develop comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI Native processes.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging tech.
• Present at academic conferences and contribute to IP filings.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead a team building universal agentic control harnesses.
