Job summary

Trulioo Information Services Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer or Architect for the AI Agentic Team. This remote, full-time role focuses on designing, building, and owning agent systems that automate complex identity, fraud, risk, and commerce workflows.

You will own the evaluation harness and observability, driving reliability and continuous improvement. You will leverage state-of-the-art AI tools, maintain a mental model of engineered systems, and ensure compliant, secure AI use while advancing

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience with production impact.
Fluency using AI agents in engineering workflows and maintaining mental models.
Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end and communicate trade-offs.
Experience tackling novel or ambiguous projects with defined problems.
Hands-on building with LLMs including prompt engineering, RAG, tool use, and agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and own agent systems end-to-end for identity, fraud, risk, and commerce workflows.
Develop reliable multi-step agent workflows with tool use and human-in-the-loop patterns.
Troubleshoot non-deterministic failures across models, tools, orchestration, and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance, auditability, and robust governance of AI tooling.
Set a technical vision and communicate it to teammates and agents.
