Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing AI Agent Control. You will shape architectures for multiagent systems, identity/auth, tuning environments, and agent personas, while advancing federal-like security and telemetry standards.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration across AI, Security, Data and Infra teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to IP filings and academic engagements. Remote in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI-native development tools and code assistants.
• Proficiency in scripting and modern programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness for multiagent systems and tooling.
• Architect agent identity and authentication at scale.
• Design post-training and tuning environments.
• Create synthesis models for open-source AI models.
• Prototype and benchmark architectures against evals.
• Develop comprehensive AI agent control frameworks.
• Drive design requirements through AI-native processes.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures.
• Collaborate across AI, Security, Data, and Infra teams.
• Support business development and IP filings; present at conferences.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead team of experts for universal agentic control harnesses.
