Job summary

Intone Inc in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Program Manager for a 6-month, fully onsite contract to lead enterprise agile transformations. You will direct strategy, governance, and coaching across multiple teams and coaches, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in agile leadership, strong SAFe and Jira/Confluence experience, and a proven ability to engage senior sponsors in both federal and private environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5+ years leading enterprise agile transformations.
• At least 5+ years of hands-on coaching experience.
• 3+ years of project/program management or systems engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of SAFe and multiple agile frameworks.
• Experience coaching teams and leading agile transformations in federal or private environments.
• Hands-on Jira and Confluence experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to define and implement agile maturity models and assessment frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction and execution of the agile transformation program.
• Drive team maturity through assessments, coaching plans, and metrics.
• Maintain transparency with stakeholders via status reporting and proactive communication.
• Ensure consistent application of the agile playbook across teams and coaches.
• Monitor coaching quality and resolve team/coach conflicts with data-driven recommendations.
• Drive business value by aligning outputs with program objectives.
• Develop governance through documented processes and stakeholder rhythms.
• Shape program strategy and adapt practices as organizational maturity evolves.
