Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead Agile delivery teams supporting federal software initiatives. You will oversee programmatic, financial, personnel and reporting aspects for 1–3 teams and serve as the primary interface with government stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years of IT project management experience, hands-on Jira/Confluence usage, and PMP/SAFe certifications. Hybrid work in Washington with a competitive salary is offered.

• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT projects.
• Experience leading Agile software development teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between government clients and internal teams for high-quality service delivery.
• Lead and support Agile development efforts across functional, technical, and policy domains.
• Define project scope, phases, deliverables, milestones and evaluation criteria.
• Develop tools and processes to track project performance, workflows and deliverables.
• Monitor timelines and government deliverables to ensure accountability.
• Coordinate logistics and technology for stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Respond promptly to team and client inquiries.
• Oversee Help Desk operations where applicable.
• Prepare and deliver weekly status updates and monthly progress reports.
• Manage full project lifecycle including budgeting, staffing, vendor coordination, and release planning.
