Job summary

VTG is seeking an Agile System Engineer III in Aurora, Colorado, to provide technical leadership across Agile teams, ensuring mission alignment, architectural integrity, and delivery discipline. Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly Required
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience
• Experience working with distributed or multi team Agile environments
• Agile and/or systems engineering certifications (SAFe, INCOSE, CSEP, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end systems engineering activities within Agile delivery frameworks
• Define and manage system level requirements, dependencies, and technical risks
• Guide decomposition of complex mission needs into scalable Agile backlogs
• Serve as primary systems engineering interface to government stakeholders and technical leadership
• Ensure architectural alignment, interface consistency, and integration readiness
• Oversee requirements traceability, verification strategy, and system acceptance
• Mentor junior and mid level systems engineers
• Support program reviews, technical roadmaps, and long range planning

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
