Job summary

DEFTEC seeks an Agile Program Manager in the United States to lead contract execution and drive a high‑performing Agile environment. You will interface with Government leadership, apply Jira to track capacity, backlog, velocity, and dashboards, and promote continuous improvement across teams.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with TS/SCI clearance and at least five years of Agile program management experience, including direct Jira proficiency and an advanced Agile credential.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Minimum of five years of demonstrated program management experience leading Agile teams.
• Direct experience with Agile management tools, specifically Jira.
• Must possess a current, recognized advanced Agile-specific credential.

Responsibilities

• Proven, hands-on experience utilizing enterprise Agile management tools (Jira at a minimum) to track capacity, manage backlog workflows, forecast delivery velocity, and generate flow metrics and dashboards.
• Leads the overall contract effort as well as interface with Government leadership.
• Demonstrate an Agile culture of continuous improvement, evidenced by measurable Agile adoption metrics and proactive identification of inefficiencies.
