RTX is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the Radar Array within the MFRFS team in McKinney, TX. You will own the designated AESA design through development, production and sustainment, interfacing with program management and the chief engineer.

The role requires deep RF design expertise, leadership, and the ability to communicate across management levels and with external customers. Onsite work in McKinney, TX is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, SystemVue).
• Experience with RF testing equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, near-field probes).
• Proven technical leadership and ability to drive complex challenges.
• Electrical hardware design and development with standard adherence.
• Experience producing new or evolved AESAs or active antenna arrays.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary technical point of contact for development, production and sustainment of the designated array within the MFRFS Product Line.
• Interface between program engineering and program management to the Array design authority.
• Collaborate with the chief engineer on technical issues, prioritize efforts and report status.
• Recommend design improvements, assess risks and maturation of the array.
• Coordinate design updates, address production issues and support field issues.
