Job summary

Air Tractor, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to establish and lead the supplier quality function, develop performance systems, and create a supplier recovery process to reduce supplier-generated quality costs.

The role collaborates with Supply Chain and Procurement to drive supplier performance improvements and leads supplier audit and development programs while managing SCARs and recovery initiatives. Strong negotiation and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 7+ years supplier quality experience.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 and supplier management practices.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish supplier quality policies, procedures, and systems.
• Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
• Lead supplier audit and supplier development programs.
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Establish supplier recovery processes and cost recovery initiatives.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and qualification activities.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement on supplier performance improvement.
• Analyze supplier quality trends and drive corrective actions.
• Improve incoming quality performance and supplier accountability.
