Job summary

Air Tractor Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure manufacturing process compliance and support the quality management system as the operational backbone.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing or aerospace quality experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards is preferred.
• Experience with auditing, inspections, and quality systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Piece Approvals and process verifications.
• Execute quality gate inspections throughout manufacturing.
• Perform process audits and layered process audits.
• Support containment activities for nonconforming products.
• Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance to manufacturing procedures and standards.
• Support SMS implementation and compliance activities.
• Coach operators and supervisors on quality requirements.
• Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.
