Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to lead a team of supplier quality engineers focused on qualification, development, and performance assessment across aerospace suppliers. You will enforce AS9100 and contractual quality requirements and drive root cause and corrective actions with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 7+ years related experience with 1–3 years in leadership/management.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and aerospace supplier quality requirements.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Experience with supplier qualification, PPAP, and AS9102 processes.
• Knowledge of SPC and quality inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Supplier Quality Engineers; duties include hiring, performance management, and career growth.
• Manage department budget, staffing, and resources for supplier quality.
• Oversee supplier qualification, audits, performance reviews, and SCAR resolution.
