Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a leader to drive aerospace engineering programs from concept through completion. You will guide cross-functional teams, align requirements and schedules, and deliver high-quality solutions while pushing technical innovation.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing engineers, ensuring successful execution, and reporting to leadership. You will foster an inclusive culture in a fast-paced aerospace environment and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM)
• 5+ years in aerospace project engineering or systems engineering
• 1 year of inertial reference system development
• Experience with regulatory compliance and aerospace quality standards
• U.S. person required (citizenship/permanent residency/protected status)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage advanced aerospace engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Drive technical innovation and solve complex aerospace problems to meet goals.
• Provide advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and ensure successful execution of activities.
• Report to the leadership team and drive retention and an inclusive culture.
